Just yesterday, I read an article talking about how many calories you can burn doing this activity and how many calories you can burn doing that activity.
This only proceeded to remind me again that we need to reevaluate what we are focusing on in our workouts - the duration of the workout or the intensity? The quantity or the quality?
By now I think you know the answer - quality, Quality, QUALITY!
High intensity training, such as interval or sprint training, is far more effective than doing moderate exercise for 1 hour. This is because after your 1 hour of moderate exercise, you are done burning calories from your workout.
But with high intensity training, you will continue to burn calories for up to 24 hours AFTER your workout - even in your sleep! It’s almost like the high intensity training puts your body into calorie-burning autopilot mode, and it is due to the fact that the harder your body works out, the longer it takes for it to recover afterward.
Trainer Alan Aragon sums it up by saying “Caring how much fat is burned during training makes as much sense as caring how much muscle is built during training.”
What he is saying is that when you do weight training, your muscles are basically broken down and if we would look at the muscles built during each session, then we would find that it’s not a good idea to do weight training.
But … when we look at the results that take place 24-48 hours afterward… that is when we see the results and the increase in muscle mass! And the same goes for calories!
I hope that after reading this you realize how ridiculous it is to focus on calories burned during a session, when there are so many calories waiting to be burned after your intense workout! And your intense workout only has to last 20 minutes at the most!
The bottom line? High intensity training gives you better results AND more time to spend with friends and family! Who can complain about that?

The Supposed Hoodia Oprah Connection Exposed
If you've shopped around for hoodia online you've likely read about the supposed hoodia Oprah connection. You've probably seen claims that Oprah Winfrey endorses hoodia or that she uses it herself to reach her weight loss goals. You may have even seen such bold claims that Oprah endorses a specific hoodia product. You'll be surprised to learn that there may not be any truth behind the hoodia Oprah connection.
I've seen some claims that hoodia was "seen on Oprah" or that "Oprah uses hoodia," but I haven't seen any evidence to support these claims. I've never heard of hoodia being featured on her television show nor have I read anything that supports the claims that she has used it. In fact, if you go to her website and search for the term, "hoodia" or "hoodia Oprah" you don't get any search results. Until I can find concrete evidence that she talked about it on her television show or that she uses it, I don't believe there is any Oprah hoodia connection as far as her television show is concerned.
There is a minor hoodia connection, however, in Oprah's magazine, O, that many websites reference as proof that...

Best Hoodia Product: How to Find It
If you know the power of Hoodia, you would want only the best Hoodia product. You deserve only the best when it comes to Hoodia weight loss solutions. Unfortunately, the best may not be that easy to find anymore. Since the popularity of Hoodia, many fake Hoodia products have crept into the market to fleece money off people. If you want only the best, you should take note of important product signs of authenticity.
Product Ingredient
Not every Hoodia plant is the same. This is why the first thing you should read is the product ingredient. Just because a product says it has Hoodia, it doesn't mean that it has the right kind of Hoodia. The right products to pick are the ones that contain Hoodia gordonii. This is the only species known to keep appetite at bay. Take note too that it has to specifically come from Africa. Products that claim to have Hoodia from Latin America and Asia aren't authentic Hoodia products.
Authentic Certificates
There is a way to make sure that you have real Hoodia in a product. Look for certification. A product should specifically hold a CITES certification. This proves that...
